16. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Higgs and Lloyd.  Councillor Thomas was appointed as a substitute for Councillor Lloyd.

17. MINUTES

It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 5th July 2022 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

18. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

There were no declarations of interest.

19. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:- 

a)      WF.22/0393/HOU *REVISED* - Two storey front and side extension and new garage to side at 120 Abberley Avenue, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0LU.

Recommend Approval.

b)     WF.22/0484/FUL - Change of use from shop/post office to sui generis sunbed/beauty salon at 2 Calder Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8QD.

Recommend Approval.

c)    WF.22/0508/S73 - Section 106A to remove the affordable housing obligations secured under planning approval 18/0447/FULL, which is to be considred in conjunction with a Unilateral Undertaking to provide 2 no. affordable dwellings on the adjoining site subject to planning approval 20/0042/S73 at 25 Land Adjoining Baldwin Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9AU.

Recommend Approval.

d)     WF.22/0529/HOU - Proposed single storey side extension at 7 Chapel Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0NJ.

Deferred.

e)      WF.22/0550/HOU - Single storey side and rear extensions with garage conversion at 15 Pembroke Way, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8RY.

Recommend Approval.

f)       WF.22/0553/HOU - Part single storey rear and two storey side extension over garage at 22 Oakhampton Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0NR.

Recommend Approval.

g)      WF.22/0557/HOU - Installation of dropped kerb, and hard surfacing of driveway at 47 Windermere Way, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8JR.

j)       WF.22/0624/LBC - Replacement windows at 14 New Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8UW.

k)     WF.22/0634/HOU - Single storey side extension at Heatholme Lickhill Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8SB.

Recommend Approval.

b)     WF.22/0180/HYB -  Hybrid planning application for the demolition of existing B2/B8 building and erection of a new Food Retail Store (Use Class E (a)) with associated access alterations, car parking, servicing and landscaping (full planning permission) and the erection of start-up employment units (totalling 928 sqm (GIA) for Class B2/B8/E (g) use (outline planning permission with all matters except access reserved) at Minerva Point, Worcester Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9AS.

Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.
