Riverside paddling pool, Stourport-on-Severn

It is with regret that a decision has been made to not open the Riverside Paddling Pool this summer. Given the coronavirus outbreak and the public health advice, there is no other option at this time.

Every year leading up to opening the pool, there are routine preparations and unfortunately these have not been able to happen due to the pandemic and therefore, Government requirements to control visitor numbers and site security measures cannot be adhered to.

This decision will be disappointing for families, but public health is the number one priority to limit the spread of the virus.  Other councils have also taken the same decision.

Thank you for your understanding.
