It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 9th August 2022 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

26. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:- 

a)      WF.22/0645/HOU * Revised * - Two storey rear extension, single storey side extension, porch, proposed detached garage and re-opening of vehcilular access at 190 Wilden Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9JT.

Deferred.

b)     WF.22/0647/HOU - Two storey side/rear extension and single storey rear extension at 42 Dunley Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0AX.

Recommend Approval.

c)      WF.22/0650/TPO  - G1 - Remove two lowest limbs from 1 x Pine and 1 x Lime overhanging 7 Prince Rupert Road, in line with the meeting of the 26.05.2022 with the Council's Arboricultural Officer at Woodland Rear Of 7 Prince Rupert Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

Recommend Approval.

d)     WF.22/0651/TPO - 2 x Acer - Reduce low branches overhanging 5 Prince Rupert Road, to suitable growth points, in line with the meeting of the 26.05.2022 with the Council's Arboricultural Officer at Woodland Rear Of 5 Prince Rupert Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

Recommend Approval.

e)      WF.22/0656/FUL - Planning permission is sought for the formation of 7 bike trails and associated works including car park, landscaping and ecological enhancements, a clubhouse/tuckshop and a toilet block, both units constructed from wood-cladded portable shipping containers to facilitate the woodland as a bike park. Burlish Bike Park proposal is for an outdoor community centre based around mountain biking. The site is aimed to support the physical and mental health and wellbeing of local residents, as well as attracting cycling visitors and tourists from further afield. The proposals for the site include mountain bike skills development through progressive trails and skills areas suitable for a range of ages and abilities, including a disability-adapted bike trail. As such, the site’s development would require the provision of formalised access and parking, as well as the minor re-working of land to facilitate the provision of the mountain bike trails at Land At Os 380600 273300, Burlish Wood, Kingsway, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

Recommend Approval.

f)       WF.22/0664/PNH *Information Only* - Single storey rear extension (larger home extension notification) at 16 Oakhampton Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0NR.
