It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 27th September 2022 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

40.       PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below- 

a)      WF.22/0700/FUL - Removal of Painted Softwood Shopfront and Doors and Replacement with Powder coated Aluminium Shopfront with new Aluminium Doors and Double Glazing at 45 High Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8BX

Recommend Approval.

b)     WF.22/0777/HOU - Erection of front porch, two storey side extension, single storey rear extension and detached double garage (resubmission of application 20/0556/HOU) at Greenlands, Timber Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9DP.

l)       WF.22/0180/HYB -  Hybrid planning application for the demolition of existing B2/B8 building and erection of a new Food Retail Store (Use Class E (a)) with associated access alterations, car parking, servicing and landscaping (full planning permission) and the erection of start-up employment units (totalling 928 sqm (GIA) for Class B2/B8/E (g) use (outline planning permission with all matters except access reserved) at Minerva Point, Worcester Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9AS.

m)   WF.22/0656/FUL -  Planning permission is sought for the formation of 7 bike trails and associated works including car park, landscaping and ecological enhancements, a clubhouse/tuckshop and a toilet block, both units constructed from wood-cladded portable shipping containers to facilitate the woodland as a bike park. Burlish Bike Park proposal is for an outdoor community centre based around mountain biking. The site is aimed to support the physical and mental health and wellbeing of local residents, as well as attracting cycling visitors and tourists from further afield. The proposals for the site include mountain bike skills development through progressive trails and skills areas suitable for a range of ages and abilities, including a disability-adapted bike trail. As such, the site’s development would require the provision of formalised access and parking, as well as the minor re-working of land to facilitate the provision of the mountain bike trails at Land At Os 380600 273300, Burlish Wood, Kingsway, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire

n)     WF.22/0742/OUT - Outline consent for redevelopment of site with 2no. dwellinghouses and 2no. bungalows, with all matters reserved at 75 Mill Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9BJ.
