1. Appointment of Chairman

It was agreed that Councillor T Berry be nominated as Chairman of the Planning Committee.

2. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

There were no apologies for absence.

3. MINUTES

It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 3rd May 2022 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

4. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

Councillor Berry declared an Other Disclosable Interest (ODI) in agenda item number 5(b) – WF.22/0198/LBC Land at Os381147 271192 York Street, Stourport-on-Severn as he is a volunteer for the Canal and River Trust. He also declared an ODI in agenda item number 5(h) – WF.22/0418/FUL 168 Wilden Lane, Stourport-on-Severn as he had met with the neighbour to hear his concerns.

5. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:-

a) WF.22/0198/LBC - Insertion of 2.4m x 1.2m metal gate into an existing aperture within the boundary wall on York Street (retrospective) at Land At Os 381147 271192 York Street, Stourport On Severn, Worcestershire.

Recommend Approval.

b) WF.22/0418/FUL - Change of use of land to form part of residential curtilage to 168 Wilden Lane at 168 Wilden Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9LP

Recommend Approval.

Councillor Berry came back to the meeting at this point, (2.04pm).

c) WF.22/0180/HYB - Hybrid planning application for the demolition of existing B2/B8 building and erection of a new Food Retail Store (Use Class E (a)) with associated access alterations, car parking, servicing and landscaping (full planning permission) and the erection of start-up employment units (totalling 928 sqm (GIA) for Class B2/B8/E (g) use (outline planning permission with all matters except access reserved) at Minerva Point, Worcester Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9AS.

Deferred.

d) WF.22/0284/FUL - Installation of Metal Archway Over Gates at St Michael And All Angels Church, Church Drive, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9DT.

Deferred.

e) WF.22/0376/CLP *Information Only* - Single storey rear extension at 35 Warwick Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8JB.

Noted.

f) WF.22/0393/HOU - Two storey front and side extension and new garage to side at 120 Abberley Avenue, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0LU.

Deferred.

Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.
