39.       MINUTES

It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 28th September 2021 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

40.       DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST     

Councillor Little declared an Other Disclosable Interest in Agenda Item No. 4(p) – WF.21/0597/FUL, Chichester Caravans, Vale Road, Stourport-on-Severn, DY13 8YL as he had a close connection with the land owner.

41.       PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:- 

a)      WF.21/0810/NMA *Information Only* - Non Material Amendment to Planning Permission 21/0393/HOU to allow changes to elevations at 1 Parkes Quay, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9HJ.

b)     WF21.0876/HOU - Single storey side extension for store and porch canopy at 31 Mill Close, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, DY13 9BU.

Recommend Approval.

c)      WF.21/0881/FUL - Proposed development of 12 affordable dwellings composed of 8 x 1 bed flats and 4 x 3 bed houses, with associated access, parking, amenity and landscaping at Tannery Court, Vernon Road, Stourport On Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8HD.

Deferred.

l)       WF.21/0985/NMA *Information Only* - Change of wall detail from brick wall with close board fence panels to brick screen wall with blue brick detailing, on plots 28, 39, 42, 45, 48, 54 and Increase of height of fence to side boundary of plots 79 & 80 from 1.8m to 2.4m at Former Midland Industrial Plastics, Steatite Way, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

Recommend Approval.

42.       ARISING FROM CONSIDERATION OF THE APPLICATIONS FOR             PLANNING PERMISSION

Noted.

43.       DECISIONS ON PAST PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.

44.       A451 MINSTER ROAD – SLIP ROAD FOR HOUSEHOLD RECYCLING CENTRE, STOURPORT-ON-SEVERN – PROPOSED EXPERIMENTAL ROAD CLOSURE TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER

The Planning considered the proposed experimental road closure Traffic Regulation Order for the A451 Minster Road, Slip Road for the household recycling Centre in Stourport-on-Severn.  After a discussion, it was recommended to support the trial of a closure.
