38. MINUTES

It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 26th September 2023 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

There were no declarations of interest.

40. PLANNING APPLICATIONS REPORT

Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:-

a) WF.23/0656/HOU - Extension and alteration of existing annex to include the formation of a first floor, extensions and reconfiguration of floor layout to main dwelling, construction of a 4 car garage, alterations to vehicle access and associated works at Broomy Hill, Areley Lane, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0TD. Delegated Approval.

b) WF.23/0688/HOU - Construction of a single storey rear extension to infill existing courtyard, loft conversion and associated internal alterations at 26 Warwick Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8JB. Deferred. Agenda Item No. 2 Appendix 1

c) WF.23/0702/TPO - Maple tree in front garden - All round 2 metre reduction at 47 Church Walk, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0AW. Deferred.

d) WF.23/0724/TCA - 3 Pine Trees - Reduce trees and remove dead branches at Hill Top, Bower Bank, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 0AF. Deferred.

e) WF.23/0733/ADV - Advertisement consent to display 3No. non-illuminated fascia signs and 2No. non-illuminated projecting signs at 28 High Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8BE. Delegated Approval.

f) WF.23/0749/FUL - Formation of jet wash bay including 1.8m high screen at Petrol Filling Station Tesco Superstore, Severn Road, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9FB. Recommend Approval.

g) WF.23/0760/TPO - Boundary trees T2-T18 & T20 on attached plan to raise the canopies to approx 4 metres; Reasons: To allow for the footpath to be constructed and not cause any damage to the trees (Only T5 Oak, T6 Oak, T10 Lime & T14 Lime I think are covered by the TPO) at Stourport High School And Sixth Form Centre, Coniston Crescent, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8JU. Deferred.

(Deferred Planning Applications - From Previous Meetings)

h) WF.23/0619/FUL - Erection of 2 No. two bedroom two storey houses with car parking at Land At Os 381218 272164, Brindley Street, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire. Recommend Refusal.

i) WF.23/0643/FUL - Conversion of bungalow into 3No. flats, to include external alterations and formation of a dormer window at Strathmore 29 Worcester Road, Titton, Stourport-on-Severn. Worcestershire DY13 9PD . Recommend Approval.

j) WF.23/0670/TPO - Elm T19 to fell to ground level at Stourport High School And Sixth Form Centre, Coniston Crescent, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 8JU. Deferred. 

41. ARISING FROM CONSIDERATION OF THE APPLICATIONS FOR PLANNING PERMISSION

Members had been circulated with a list of the decisions of the District Council in respect of past planning applications and, it was RESOLVED that the list be noted.
