Minutes of a meeting of the planning committee of Stourport-on-Severn Town Council held in the Mayor’s parlour, at the Civic Centre, Stourport-on-Severn

  1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

    Apologies for absence were received from Councillor M Freeman.

  2. MINUTES

    It was RESOLVED that the Minutes of the Meeting of the Planning Committee Council held on 30th September 2025 be confirmed as a correct record and signed by the Chair, subject to the amendment of the list of Councillors present at the meeting which should be amended to show that Councillor John Thomas attended as an Observer.

  3. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

    • Councillor Berry declared an Other Disclosable Interest in Agenda Item No. 4, Planning Application WF.25/0615/PIP as the application had received an objection from a person with whom he was acquainted with. Councillor Berry resolved to discuss the relevant planning application with an open mind.  He also declared Other Disclosable Interests in Agenda Item No. 4, Planning Applications 25/0762/LBC, WF.25/0769/LBC and WF.25/0770/LBC) as he worked as a volunteer for The Canal & River Trust.  He would remain in the meeting but not take part in any debate.
    • Councillor Lloyd declared Other Disclosable Interests in Agenda Item No. 4, Planning Application 25/0691/FUL as he had spoken to the applicant, Planning Application WF.25/0648/FUL as he a trustee at Burlish Bike Park but came to the meeting with an open mind and Planning Applications WF.25.0286/OUT and WF.25.0728/LPA as he had sent objection comments to Wyre Forest District Council and Malvern Hills District Council and would remain in the meeting but not take part in any debate.
    • Councillor Schmeising-Barnes declared Other Disclosable Interests in Agenda Item No. 4, Planning Applications 25.0286/OUT and WF.25.0728/LPA as she had sent objection comments to Wyre Forest District Council and Malvern Hills District Council and would remain in the meeting but not take part in any debate.

    Consideration was given to consultations by the District Council on the following applications for planning permission, and it was RESOLVED that the District Council be informed of the Town Council response to each consultation, as set out below:
