- DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
There were no declarations of interest. - LF YEARLY BUDGET REPORT
Members received a report from the Treasurer which gave information on the actual
expenditure and income for the six months up to 30th September 2025. The Treasurer informed Members that a forecast of approximately £10,000 underspend was predicted at the present time, details of which were provided in the report. The Treasurer was keen to highlight that whilst an underspend was currently predicted, the income received from burial fees was volatile. The Treasurer advised Members that it would be reasonable to assume that actual income during the second half of the year may be lower than the forecasted amount, which could impact the final financial year end position of the Stourport-on-Severn Town Council. The Treasurer was thanked for his informative report.

CONCLUSION OF AUDIT FOR 2024/25
Members received an update from the Treasurer following the conclusion of the 2024/25 external audit. The external auditor had provided some additional commentary for which the Treasurer provided an explanation. The submission to the external auditor had included staff costs which related to agency workers; agency costs should have been included elsewhere. The Treasurer confirmed that the provision of the additional comments did not impact the conclusion of the audit and that the accounts had been successfully signed off. - LAPTOP PURCHASE
The Town Clerk provided an overview of current IT arrangements and set out the benefits of purchasing a laptop. A laptop could be provided by Stourport-on-Severn Town Councils current IT provider at a cost of approximately £700.00. Members resolved to purchase a laptop for the use of Town Council staff.
