Stourport Future - getting on with it now

Thank you to the 1200+ people who took part in our initial Stourport Future survey!

Our next step is to summarise the survey so that we can use the insights in further consultation to understand more about the problems and also to look at opportunities for the future.

The hard part starts once the vision has been created. That is, changing the town to match the vision! Not everyone will agree with every change.

It's not too late to have your say, watch this space for the next round of consultation. You don’t have to have completed the first survey to take part in further consultation.

Initial action

As well as the vision and plan, we are looking at what we might be able to do now to address issues and concerned raised:

Signage : A member of the team has been reviewing the car park information signs around town to provide better direction of the town’s car parks. We’re also updating the “finger signs” around town to reflect changes.
Communication: one of the messages that came up in the survey was the need to hear more about what is going on in the town. To address this, we’re looking at how we improve digital communication and also more notice boards around the town.
